I like this series. They're getting real hard to find in circulation. I had a heck of a time finding the NWT. Took me a full year, even though the mintage was on par with the others.

It does take quiet a while to pick these out of circulation, and even then its hard to find nice examples, I tried for a while, but eventually broke down and bought a set off eBay, they were uncirculated, in a plexiglass holder and it came with the 1992 Loonie as well as the quarters, I think I paid $5 for it.

I've got some of those 25c. coins.Perhaps, this is where the Americans got the idea for the 50 States Quarters programme from.

Considering the plastic holders go for $1.00-$1.50, you got the coins for face value. Nice job!

And considering the shipping was included with the 5 bucks, when i got the package it said $1.81 on it. So 12 coins is $3 plus the loonie= $4 plus shipping $5.81 and the holder would bring the total to about $7.00 so i think i did really good. :)

I've got a Loonie that bears the '1867-1992' double dates, but it is a well-circulated one.

I really like the designs on this series. I've been meaning to buy an UNC set like that one.

That one is celebrating Canada's 125th year since Confederation.

All the commemoratives are hard to find in circulation, especially the "lucky" loonies. Took me forever to find the 2004

As for the provinces, I still need....NWT, manitoba, BC, Alberta

    Twiggs,the ones I do have are these ones;
    Alberta,British Columbia,Manitoba,New Brunswick,Newfoundland,Northwest Territories,Nova Scotia,Ontario,Quebec,Saskatchewan,& Yukon.

Now which of those am I missing apart from the 25c. Caribou with the double dates?

I have both the Loon & Parliament Buildings Loonies.

    I have the 1c.,5c.,& 10c. with the double dates,but not the 50c.

Twiggs, thanks for that.I will be looking out for the Prince Edward Island commemorative 25c. to complete my 1992 Canadian Provinces set.

    I have got both the 1994 Cenotaph & 1995 Peacekeeping commemorative Loonies,plus the 1999 Nunavut Twoonie,& the 2002 Queen's Golden Jubilee Twoonie.

Nice set Ryan. I still need the Newfoundland and British Columbia but I do have the complete 1999 set.

John,I have a few of the ones in the 1999 & 2000 issues.I'm surprised that you are missing the British Columbia & Newfoundland provincial 25c. coins.

The 2000 series is notoriously difficult to find choice BU business strikes. I've gone through dozens of mint rolls and have yet to find a true gem.

Does that mean they are worth more? Because the loonie that the guy sent with the provinces set is a commemorative, 1867-1992 type.
