canadian cent?

    I have a few of these. Are they canadian? any value?

    Too dark and not enough contrast to read the legends clearly. If neither the word "Canada" nor any other country name appears, they are probably British.

    Skane,that is a halfpenny (1/2d.) from Great Britain.
    It is an extremely common coin.
