I've been searching about a thousand bills a week for odd serial numbers with some luck finding radars and repeaters. However, I got this bill in my change from a local grocery store: Book value is $450 and it sold it for $500 to a local collector!

now that is a COOL find! i have never seen one of those myself .. well not in hand. seen all too many pictures though lol just think of how small the chance is of finding one of those... and you did it! congrats
So the whole Christmas thing and family being together. My dad randomly mentions something he saw on the news about mismatched $20 bills. He explains what to look at and I take out my wallet. This is what I found. I have found some other posts saying that single digit mismatched go for about $450 in mint. My bill is in very good condition...and has 3 digits mismatched. Anyone know where I could find the worth of this bill? Here is a picture of the mismatched bill along with a normal one.
Merry Christmas and nice find! According to the Charlton catalog "Canadian Government Paper Money", an uncirculated $20 bill with 3 or more mismatched digits in the serial number is priced at $650. As with any type of collectible, it's a matter of finding a buyer for it. I'll pm you with some info.
