have a look the rim is bent in a couple of spots, but no damage to the outer coating still smooth as the rest of the coin. if its pmd i would think it would have chips ,or other damage in spots. have a look. does this increase the value any? thanks [/URL][/IMG] [/URL][/IMG][/IMG] [/URL][/IMG]
I would agree with Conder. If it were a bad flan, the design would still be round. It appears, though, that the coin was deformed after the coin was struck, since the beading follows the damage.
