I have been wanting to buy a $50 & $100 in this series for a while. I have been checking ebay and the cheapest $50 is $69.99 and cheapest $100 is $134.88. With the exchange rate being almost 1 to 1 this prices seem kind of high for a plain uncirculated note that is in circulation now. Any adivice on how to get one a little cheaper? I see that some of the older series notes are even cheaper. Also, I have heard rumors that they are going to start a new series. Does anyone know when?
Doesnt look like there selling much over face, in uncirculated condition maybe it,s time To bite the bullet or wait until something less expensive comes along could be awhile!
I bought an US $50 (2004) star for $65. But that was a star. Just seems like a non-star, non-error, just a regular serial should be cheaper.
