Hi, I have a 1965 canada and a 1970 philippians coin, and I want to know their value. Thanks in advance.
I am by no means an expert in foreign coinage, but it appears to me that your Canadian dollar is the pointed 5, small beads variety. There are small, medium and large beads, but my reference only had photos for the small and large varieties, so I could not compare your coin to a photo for medium beads, which has a slightly higher value. The coin appears to have a few rubs on it, but the lowest grade given a value in my book was MS-60 at $24. Mintage was 10,768,569. The coin is made of .800 silver with an actual silver weight of .600 oz. I don't have a reference for the Philippines coin.
http://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/world/philippines-piso-km-202-1970-cuid-32806-duid-96075 This is for the Philippines coin. There is a nickel (this link) and a silver version. Don't know which you have. NGC world coin guide online is very helpful.
Thank you, the piso is silver. I sold them both for $32. Do you think that was a good price for them both?
