    Hello everyone,
I have a few stores that I visit and know the cashier persons well enough to ask them if they can set aside any foreign coins they might receive. I usually get many coins from the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Canada and Euro coins.

Yesterday one of them told me they have a coin they had never seen.
I also never have seen this neat Canadian Commemorative $1.00

    I was given to me..

Your post is the first time seeing this issue. Rather a good one.

Back in 2014 or so I ran across some uncirculated 2012 Canadian cents. Being the last year being produced I quickly preserved about 50 of them. But during all the work and research I did for those, I never ran across this Canadian Commemorative. Thanks for posting, I’ll have to keep a lookout and get one.

MS63 lists for $5.00 USD. The proof is KM #1017a and same composition. But even though the proof isn’t silver, it still lists for $50.00 USD.

This one is circulated and should value around $2.50-3.00.
