Can anyone tell me what they think of this coin? I know the pictures are probably not the best, but it appears that it is somehow a defective die. of course, some of it is no doubt wear.
There does appear to be some planchet damage near the top of the head. I would have to see the coin, or at least a better picture to be sure.
That's all I can see. Some sort of hole or gouge? Taking it out of the holder may enable you to provide a better picture.
