Unknown Rev.jpg Unknown Obv.jpg I would appreciate any help in identifying this coin. My Krause catalogs start at 1800 and this is the only coin in the 1700's I own. I've had fun searching the web trying to find out for myself, but now I'm frustrated. The only thing I learned was that 1751 is during the reign of George III., but I don't even know if it's British. It is approx. 33.5 mm dia. and approx. 3.5mm thick. Full catalog description would be appreciated including KM#. etc.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

Sorry about the fumbling on the value, I don't know if you saw my mistake. There is a 1755 variety that does not have a dot after the date, and the variety with the dot is more valuable. They did'nt make any between 1751 and 1755 and the two had run together on me. :p
