I have this (overcleaned) coin that is confusing me, and I am hoping that someone might recognize something and be able to point me in the right direction, for this one.
I believe that the obverse shows a (Roman) bust, right, draped and cuirassed, with Roman legend, and the reverse shows a galloping horse and rider, right, (similar to Philip?) The rider would appear to be holding a spear?
With Roman legend, and in exergue V P L (Lugdunum?)
    What do you think?

    Thank you Victor.
Exactly the help I was hoping for. I have had a quick look and I believe that you are absolutely correct. (Obvious - I feel a bit silly.) I shall spend some time there, and see how much further i can get.
Again, I appreciate that information. (So fast, too.)

My thanks @ancient coin hunter You were spot on as well.

(Edit) I am going for MAGNENTIUS, RIC VIII LYONS 117 P
