I agree with green18. It looks to be in the XF range, but I would need better pictures to know for sure.
These photos are far too small to accurately grade but if I were to; I would go with xf40 too. On the obverse the Liberty looks strong but the hair on the forehead looks like it has too much wear on it to go any further than xf40. On the reverse the tips of the wings show some flat spots but the feathers look separated still. The reverse looks really dark that may have some environmental damage. But this is just a rough guesstimate with such small photos. Josh
For some reason I cant make the pics come up larger than they already are. I have them set for 1280 x 1024 So try this link to the actual pics thanks http://s870.photobucket.com/albums/ab263/iuswing/Barber/
I'm going to say EF-45 detail, probably cleaned at one point. I could be wrong, but the luster on the obverse, as well as the toning on the entire coin, look a little funny.
I'd say XF - Cleaned AU Details the toning is natural, but Liberty's head is the only untoned part of the coin? The toning lines end rather abruptly. I think it may have had some help.
I can't agree or disagree with your opinions. Since I was't born in 1915 and didn't baby sit this thing all its life. It doesn't look cleaned to me but thats my OP and I know in my 15 years of owning it and just taking it out of the 2x2 I bought it in the other day I can say I never cleaned it. I still think I did good for 25 bucks back then.
