Can someone please help identify this coin? I've had it for a couple of years now, but it's always been this damaged. One side appears to have a lady holding a staff or tree branch, as she sits facing left. & on the opposite side I'm able to make out the letters DEPAE, but I've never been able to make much progress with it.. Any leads are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
I believe you likely have one of these coin types. However, due to the condition of your coin, I cannot nail down a particular type or date. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces50108.html https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces57826.html https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces57825.html https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces57801.html
B.T, thanks for the help, man. What's taken me years to solve only took you a matter of minutes. I see more resemblance in the ones made through 1858-1862, than the older ones. I can finally put it away in peace. Thanks again.
