I will post a picture of the grade tomorrow after work ! But at this point in time nobody as nail it ! Thank you all & Happy New Year !
ok it seems Liberty's cheek is baggy so I'd expect it to be rather a 63 or 63+ can't see any obvious damage or wear
You have a keen sense ! And you are close but . If I give away any more info about this coin it will be a done deal ! If you want to know the true grade of this 1887 Morgan before tomorrow just send me a e-mail at cobra.snakebite@gmail.com Thank you all again !!! Doug
I'm no professional photographer ! I'm just a collector with bad lighting ! I am not set up for the perfected picture/seller !!! But thanks for the input .
No offense but you can shoot the image dead on at a 90 ,and yes I do understand as I myself learned the hard way trial and error of shooting coins. Heck it's only been a year that I figured out how to shoot a larger proof surfaces .
I meat no disrespect myself ! I am in need of picture help my friends tell me but I think the new/young generation is so much more techno technology advanced . I am a union Roofer in Seattle going on 25 year's at this point & all the newbies that they send my way last a week are so & then poof gone ( lol) but it's the same crap just a different day . I'm off to bed so I thank you for your input Doug ( Seattle Wa. )
Not with those photos, I can't. It is somewhere between AU-55 and MS-67. Not trying to be mean, hope I don't come off that way. There are many threads on these boards with helpful hints to photograph coins, even without a professional setup. Most smartphones these days can take decent pics, if you know what you are doing. Take a look at those threads, and try again with the pics. I'm guessing that you have a fairly attractive coin, but you won't get accurate guesses for the grade unless you give us decent pictures.
The problem is that no one likes to judge a coin from photos taken at an angle. There are just too many nicks, dings, hairlines and/or scratches that can be hidden. It is best to take the photo from directly overhead. Chris
UNC details. Not that I see anything that would make it a details coin, rather what I would have said was already noted as wrong. My photos suck so I won't say anything about yours.
