In the second coin the error, I believe is how he spelled "laminations'. It should have been spelled "c-r-u-d".
The 17 probably has very tiny flakes on it, and the 44-D has a peeled area around liberty, but the crud and the wear make it diffucult to see...
OK, I'll trade my 2¢ for a few credits... I agree...lousy photos. So, the guy is either trying to get away with something or he's not. In this case, the guy has plenty of feedback @ 99.9% and has a "No questions asked" return policy. Every feedback he's received from sales of DLAM cents have been good. Obviously, it wouldn't be worth your time to bother returning these if they aren't what you want. So, if you're a DLAM collector and these would be a good addition to your collection (if genuine), the most you would be "out" is $3.59...worst case scenario (he'll like combine S&H if you ask nicely). I say "Live dangerously...Go for it!!"
