Hello, everyone! I found a bunch of these searching rolls a while back. I know the pictures aren't the best but there seems to be a die chip on the reverse under E in CENT and a second one in the lower left part of the shield and the two are connected by a hairline crack. I've found dozens of these. I know there's no added value but I'm keeping them anyway. I think they're neat. I was just wondering is there a name for something like this? I'm asking because I'd like to know what to write on the tags that I will put on the tubes I'm keeping them in. Sorry about the lousy pictures but that's about the best I can do until I get a digital microscope.
Most of the time they are called Die Chips. https://www.error-ref.com/interior-die-break-connected-to-die-crack/ https://www.error-ref.com/die-breaks/ https://www.error-ref.com/die-chips/
You have found a coin with 2 die chips and they are connected by a fine crack. No real name for that so just call it what it is, 2 die chips with a die crack.
