Well the mint is basically saying that it is sold out based on orders. I expect there's going to be some cancellations due to duplicate orders (due to the slow website and multiple clicking around the release time on Thursday), people trying to order more than 1, bad credit cards, etc. The wait list is for those who want it, and are fortunate enough to get the canceled orders.
