Manufactured goods can have a great positive impact on an economy. Can coins and the hobby have a positive effect on the economy and even create jobs? If so, how?

I'm not sure how much is spent on coins each year , but I'm pretty sure it would be a small part of the GDP thus not have a big impact . But with that said the more we spend on coins means others will be making some money which in turn helps feed the economy and every little bit helps . So buy a coin today . :)

What about increased number of coin shows to spur growth in demand? Also, all the secondary spending that occurs because of a coin show.

I like the idea. Makes me think of the latest congressional attack on the commems. Somehow need to better educate the public AND capitalize on some demand...
