Can anyone tell me why Ive been looking at this for an hour? Does it look funky to u?

Im not sure what to make of it but something is off with it. Who wants to tell me what? Or am I just losing my mind?

I think the dark colors make the wear stand out. So the lines in his hair and beard look a little off.

 

Describe " Funky " ?

 

The colours on this thing...look like the ones that we all have seen in the decorative fountains at the shopping malls.
Sometimes when Im bored waiting for someone shopping at the mall, I find myself staring down at those coins looking for rarieties.
Man o man I need help fast!!

Is it his mustache? Once you've searched enough cent rolls you'll see just about any color that copper could possibly tone to, and any kind of crud and gunk that could be possible to get on a coin.

 

haha, thanks for all the replies. The reason I set this coin aside to look at was his face profile looked funny.

It almost looks like a it was stamped and then rotated 3 times giving him 3 chin lines and a wide valley all the way down his front face profile.

Then I just put red arrows next to anything I see funky. Im tired of looking at this damn coin. Time for a break.

 

Yeah at first I just saw the sideburns and his must. but now I see the outline and the other funkyness!!

 

So I guess Ill just tuck this in my "I know theres something wrong with it but I dont know what" section. =)
