I have this 1997 Lincoln Cent with a bunch of stuff going on but the ear is the most intriguing. Any idea how this happened or what it is? I posted on the "coin chat" forum but figured this would be the better place. I used two different light directions and still, the ear lobe looks missing with a straight line to the back of the ear. Well, the only thing that seems to come close is a DD ear variety so I'll just sent it to Wexlers and se what they tell me.
