Can anyone shed some light on this coin

    From what I could find, this coin was supposedly made until 1940.

    I just gave it a better look and it is 3 at the end, not 8.
    Rust made an optical illusion. I appologise

    A lot of European coins were made in zinc during ww2, especially occupation coinage. The US even had its zinc coated steel cent that same year. I like zinc because higher grade coins look nice and many are scarce because of how commonly they corroded

    This coin was released when Hungary was Hitler's satellite. It's rather common coin.
