Can anyone identify this arab nation coin?

Can anyone identify country of origin + mintage date of this coin. The fez makes me think Turkey. Cant find like items on auction sites. Regards Bruce

Thanks for the lead. It becomes easier when pointed in the right direction. I found one on ebay -- 1937 2 Piastres according to my match-up, but i cant read arabic.

 

This one is dated 1942, but it's the same type as the '37. Also struck in 1939.
'39+'37 mintage of 500k each, '42 10million.
