It was described by Auction House as a 'unpublished AV Tremissis" from Visigoths.Marcianus on obverse. Crude strike b-volkerwanderung-b-2009587-XL.jpg

Probably (Vandalic) imitation with spelling errors on the obverse and even in the VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM reverse legend ???

Recognizing a coin as an imitation is far easier than assigning it to an issuer. If this coin doesn't fall into a known class of pseudo-imperial gold (not my expertise), it may be that the attribution to the Visigoths is inferred from a find spot in southern Gaul or Spain.

The coin data lists Toulouse as possible mint. Maybe thats where the coin was found?
