    Hi all!

This coin came in a small lot I bought recently, and I'm struggling to identify it. I'm guessing it's Chinese, based on the shape, but that's where my knowledge on it ends.

The coin is about 20mm in diameter

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Looks like a charm rather than a coin. The module is similar to a wu zhu, which were issued for hundreds of years (c. 100 BCE to 600 CE) and probably imitated as charms for hundreds thereafter. I can't tell if there are the remains of the wu zhu marking on the "blank" side.
