Bean used and abused. Just worn and damaged. Probably won't work in a vending machine anymore.

 

From the metal deformation and the size of the marks, I'd guess it was repeatedly
struck with a hammer or some such. Maybe we should start a new field of study:
numismatic forensic pathology.

It's highly damaged and not to be used in machinery of any kind, especially in parking meters.

 

What I see is the first year our country started making those crappy clad coins.
