any 1 have an idea on how i could take better and closer pics with my camera? like where to go on the camera and what to change?
depends on your camera. I know the nikon 995 will focus down to about 1/2 inch or so. Some won't focus closer than 5ft... all depends on the camera. How about a scanner?
You want to check your camera documentation to see whether or not it has a "macro" function and if so, how you turn it on. Chances are, to get good photos, you will want to enable the macro function, hold the camera about 1 1/2 inches from the coin - or however close your camera will allow, and the take a shot with the flash turned off. Of course, you will need to make sure to have some good lighting setup first. Hope this helps.
