Calling All Kennedy Experts...or Anybody,Really

    Here is one that has been bothering me for a while. I believe this is a SMS coin.
    I'm not sure if it's evident in the photos but the reverse is absolutely dull and flat (no luster at all) while the obverse shows a more expected luster and bright surface. Weighs in at 11.32gr. Could this be a clad layer error?

    The SMS Kennedy has an almost proof-like surface. As already stated, this looks like a business strike.
