    Just an FYI...

Keith Emmett is working on a variety book and is currently seeking examples from Elagabalus onwards.

    From a post elsewhere :

Looking for new or rare variety pictures for Alexandrian coins from Elagabalus to Domitius Domitianus for a variety catalogue.

    The variety types to include:

    1. Inscription breaks
    2. bust types
    3. reverse date positions
    4. reverse types.
    5. hybrids, etc.
    6. different combinations of the above.

I will likely close the addition of new pictures at the end of the year. Please PM me if you have anything interesting.

    ...

Submit as per the link above, or PM me for the address.

Nice.. I shall start with these 3 coins from Alexandria. If they fit, I'll keep on. The first is Licinius I- rated R1- RIC VII Ale 28. The second is Galerius- Cohen 48. The third is Licinius II- RIC VII Ale 30. Good Luck TIF. Sorry, Charles... I should have been more clear. His books cover Roman Egyptian coins from its provincial era: from Augustus through Domitus Domitianus; drachms, tetradrachms, obols, dichalkons, etc. Later emperors' issues struck in Alexandria were from when it was an Imperial mint, so your three Imperial issues aren't covered.

His first book has become a popular catalog for referencing. The next book delves deeper into varieties among these coins.

Never mind.. I'll check it that way. Actually, I understood the word " onwards" as meaning after Elagabalus. Good luck again.
