@BigTee44 Just a suggestion: edit your posts and number the submissions. It'll make it easier for members to judge.
They've been pretty tight lately 1 No 2 No 3 No 4 Probably yes 5 No 6 Yes 7 No idea with proof nickels 8 Yes 9 No 10 Yes 11 No 12 No 13 No 14 No 15 Yes 16 Yes 17 Yes 18 Yes 19 No 20 Maybe 21 Don't think so, they seem to be harder on varieties 22 Yes 23 No
Toners are difficult for me to judge, but the '48 Franklin and the '37 Buffalo are gold candidates. They all seem to be solidly graded. I'll love to find out what CAC thinks. Good luck!
I am probably overly tough, but the coin needs to be problem-free, solid for the grade, and have great eye appeal. 1 1902 Indian MS64 (yes) 2 1956-D Lincoln MS67 RB (No, not enough red) 3 1956-D Lincoln MS67 RB (No, not enough red) 4 1956-D Lincoln MS66 Star BN (Yes) 5 1839-O Seated Half Dime AU53 (No, not enough luster) 6 1937 Buffalo Nickel MS64 (Yes) 7 1939 Jefferson Proof Rev of 38 PF66 (Yes) 8 1857 Seated Dime AU55 (Yes) 9 1891-O Seated Dime MS62 (No, luster too subdued) 10 1894-O Barber Dime F12 (No, obverse scratches) 11 1905-S Barber Dime AU58 (No, toning too dark-hides luster) 12 1891 Seated Quarter MS62 (No, luster too subdued) 13 1928 Standing Liberty Quarter VF25 (Yes) 14 1806/5 Bust Half VF20 (Yes, might get gold) 15 1853 Seated Half VF35 (Yes) 16 1860-O Seated Half AU53 (No, obverse scratches) 17 1943 Walking Liberty Half MS64 (Yes) 18 1948 Franklin Half MS64 FBL (Yes, might get gold) 19 1952 Franklin Half MS66 (Yes) 20 1952-S Franklin Half MS65 (Yes) 21 1955 Franklin Half Bugs Bunny MS66 FBL (No, luster too subdued and can't see the FBL well) 22 1881-S Morgan Dollar MS64 (Yes) 23 1884-O Morgan Dollar MS64 (Maybe, luster is a bit weak for a 64, but everything else is right)
BTW, how did the 3rd 56d lincoln recieve a star grade but the 1st one did not?? PM me if its for sale !!
Results are in!! Only took 4 days from when they signed for them! Mad props to CAC! Any guesses before the results?
I stand beside my gold sticker prediction. All the coins look pretty solid. This will be a good lesson.
