Does anyone have a general list of coins (I'm most interested in pre-1960 pennies) that generally require a CAC sticker to improve investor confidence? I guess another way to ask the question is: Which pre-1960 pennies have been the most inconsistently graded over the years and would benefit the most from having a CAC sticker. Thanks!!! (I dare not not mention this , but I recently bought a 1943-S Penny and I'm wondering if I should get it CAC'd. It's an MS 67 from PCGS)
On your '43-S, CAC endorsements are pretty inexpensive, so why not? It certainly wouldn't hurt. Look up your market value in that plastic, here: http://www.pcgs.com/Prices/PriceGui...&SP=1&c=46&title=Lincoln+Cent+(Wheat+Reverse).
Have to agree with this as many may no longer be true reds anymore and the warrenty was voided on them.
Now you've done it... and it ain't even five o'clock yet. Oh well, it's Saturday, so I'm off to "pop a top again"...
