Greetings. A friend of mine has sent me by his " What's up " service , this series of ancient Byzantine coins which look like gold. I hope they are genuine, and possibly including a scarce ancient. I take it you only have the image of one side? I'm note the person to answer your questions as I do not collect Byzantine coins per se. But the image you posted all look like very nice coins.
The coins are Gold and they look good by the pictures i see, it would be nice to see a few up close, the only things that worries me is how many there are and there are a few flans that are the same shape, i'm no expert...very inexpressive group...
There have been alot of these about on ebay, so maybe a large hoard has made it to the marketplace...
