had a case of byzantine fever last week, had to treat with a justian follis and plenty of fluids. here's the follis. Justian I AE follis 529 - 533 AD obverse: D N IVSTINI-ANVS PP AVG, Justinian enthroned facing holding long scepter in right, globus cruciger in left reverse: large M, cross above, star left, crescent right, B below (2nd officina), + THEUP in exergue Theopolis (Antioch) mint SB 214 30 mm 17.8g nice color on this one, and not the usual facing bust or side view follis. here' the fluids.. careful...byzantine fever is contagious! feel free to post a byzantine follis that needs some spotlight time.
What a great example of that type. It looks like my own Byzantine fever has spread I have that same type but nowhere near as nice. If you ever need to give it up to a good home, I'll gladly take it with open arms!
Very cool lookin' coin-brew-combo, my friend ... => cha-fricken-chinnng => that's what I'm talkin' about!! Cheers
Wow Chris great coin, the details and color are off the charts, nice big chunky pond skipper! not a Beer drinker, something that dark should be in my motor.
Again chrsmat, that's a very sweet brew-colored Justinian the Great that you've added ... the milk-stout looks very handsome next to your fine example (congrats) ... my only Justinian-I example doesn't seem to mimic any beers or milk-stouts, but it does kinda blend-in with this milk-shake, yes? => I hope that you have a happy Easter Sunday, my friend
