Its the last coin that I picked up from the NY Internation and World Coin Show that I need to identify and document.

Can you get an image of the otherside? And clearer, if possible.

Here. It was easier than flipping my monitor over.

I'm going with Justinian I and sure to be corrected by one of the big boys of ancients.

wonderful. What is that symbolism? Other than the fact that it is definitely man made I have no idea what those coins are supposed to have stamped on them.

On the reverse, the K indicates the denomination, a Half Follis, or 20 nummi. The ANNO means year, IIII indicates the year number, and the chi-rho is a control marker, and the A indicates the officina (mint workshop) which struck the coin.

    Maurice Tiberius
    AE half follis
    Constantinople, 586-587 AD
    Crowned, cuirassed bust facing
    DN MAVR TIBER PP AV
Large K, with chi-rho above, A below, ANNO to l., IIII to r.
    Sabatier 497, BMC 71

I seached around on the net and could't find a match. How do you know it is
    Marv Tiber?

Because of the AVR on the obverse that is clearly shown on your coin.

    LOL I knew it.
