    Wow.

Was not sure this was going to be a smooth fast deal, but..

    It was.

I'm waiting to reach Illini420 to do the ceremonial box opening.

I'll post pictures soon, very soon.

No, I will Mr. Illini. Out of pure respect and my word, I have held off the box opening process until you're ready so the reaction could be fresh.

Are the spots on the obverse on the coin?

    LOL No way jose!

No spots on this puppy, that's camera glare or dust on the case.

I know it can look misleading, my coin photog skills are still coming along..

As long as all of those small spots are just on the holder and not on the coin then I think you did pretty well!!! Congrats on getting the key to the Silver Eagle series and a very nice one indeed! :thumb::thumb::thumb:

    Looks superb!

Tell me, can you spot any flaws on the coin with the naked eye? How about using a loupe?

Said another way, why is this a 69 and not a 68 or a 70?

Not fair!!! I want to get one of those now!!!!! ;)

Someone's getting pretty darn good with that camera by the way.

I just finished up with the loupe and it looks great. I personally can't spot a single flaw but again, what makes this a 69 not a 70 is really beyond me. I'm going to leave that for some of you to decide.

I don't think I'm selling this to be honest. I paid for a certified 69. It's not as big a risk as getting a raw one -especially laying out 5 grand to do so!(But good idea anyway)

Now, why this is a 69 not a 68/70.. Hmm, I'm surely not sure. It could be a very very fine detail or the smallest scratch? I don't see one but you might.

So then get one and stop dreaming about it! lol!!

This coin is so shiny I almost just got blinded.
