Over the past two years that I have been on the forum, I read post's about going to the bank and searching for coins. I never did that till today. I went to my bank today and bought $100. worth of half dollars. Well I guess I got a bad bunch. I only found one 1967 Kennedy, But I'm going to try again, and report.

It's definitely hit-or-miss. I've had boxes ($500) of nothing but 1973-1979 and boxes with silver, proofs, foreign, etc.

    Don't give up.

Make sure if you live in a small town to really "butter up" the head teller. Abut five years ago, she called me, and said "Ive got something here you might be interested in".

    It was two $1000 bills.

Yup, Interested. FACE VALUE yet! I still wish I had them but traded them for a real cherry 1816 Springfield .69 Musket, original Flintlock! (still actually made out better even at todays costs)
