I must have missed something but when did Walmart get into the coin business? https://www.walmart.com/ip/1909-S-V...campaign_id=6624286204824&ad_id=6624286204624
Most of the products are advertised there, but are actually from APMEX. The items, if shipping fees are applicable, are often included. It's likely Walmart advertising APMEX as a way to get a commission from them. While I don't know much about it, I wouldn't consider buying lower-priced coins from the Walmart site.
In 1962, when the first store was opened. The Founder/Owner was an avid collector. He sort of mimicked Sears in the area of retail area for hobbies. YW. I know a lot of useless stuff. It is a burden and a curse, but wadamigonnado.
I bought a Bicentennial Proof Set from Times Squares Store in Levittown once. They had a coin and stamp department.
I don’t care if Walmart is selling for Apmex or selling Apmex owned coins, I wouldn’t buy any coins from Walmart or a company like them.
Walmart is not selling coins. Like Amazon they allow others to market through their website and probably collect a percentage on all sales. And since they aren't the seller if you have a problem they aren't responsible, take it up with the actual seller.
