Anybody got any good websites of dealers who will sell single coins at reasonable prices? I prefer pennies - and slabbed - Any good dealers you can recommend will be greatly appreciated.
I heard this site earlier this week on CoinTalk. I've checked it out a little, but it seems to be growing. They got, maybe 6 dealers now on the site, but more are expected. More than often the prices are a little steep, but it depends on which dealer you go to. http://www.vcoins.com/us/
I personally have found buying coins on Teletrade to be a great way to purchase coins. It is an auction site, but they have three auctions per week and I feel that the prices I've gotten on there have been reasonable. Their customer service is also top notch. They always have lots of Cents, large, small and just about every variety pops up now and then. Just remember to figure in the auction fee and shipping when bidding.
go to Northeastcoin.com They have a good selection, and allow you to enter an offer for many of the coins, instead of just accepting the price. I generally get in offers about 10-20% off of the normal price and get accepted, and the normal prices are not inflated for a retail site. Service is great, and they only sell slabbed coins, all photographed (or you can request a photo if they have not put one up yet). I have bought about 15 coins from them, happy with every purchase. Never worry about scams and such as I do every single time I use ebay.
