buying coins at the bank

    :mad::dead-horse:what kinds of coins and bills can you buy at the bank?

    Even if you don't want to read the whole thing, the last 20-30 pages should give you a good idea of what can be found these days. You can get pretty much whatever you want and whatever they have... as long as you have an account. Of course it varies from bank to bank, so...

    The boxes come from third parties like Brinks, Guarda, etc. Rarely will you find coins that were shipped direct from the mint.

    Not sure what you mean by "bokes" of coins and straight "from the mint."

    At the bank you can buy rolls of coins or a box (50 rolls). Sometimes these rolls are uncirculated rolls from the fed, and sometimes they are re-rolled older coins that are circulated. It is the luck of the draw. You can also ask for older notes if you collect paper money as well. Good luck and happy hunting.

    Dollar Coins, Halves $2 Bills. They are fun to spend. But if your interested in searching rolls. Its best to by coins by the box (50 rolls)

    Yes, but if the boxes are not in stock they may charge you a small fee. They usually don't though

    I roll search for pennies mostly. Why? You don't find much silver nowadays. Also, you can hoard copper pennies and find varieties.

    what years did they make the indian head pennies
    yay i have only found 1 or 2 silver coins this years and they were only dimes
    but i might get a box of dimes i am looking for a 1982 no mint mark dime

    They made indians from 1859-1909
