This is a great example of coin vs holder. Too bad too because I needed a 53 for my set. It has to go back, my opinion, not even near a 65, those acne scars are the coin, NOT the plastic. Reverse is primo.
Weird ! In the slab pic it looks like a business strike. In the blow-up it looks like an impaired Proof ?? I agree, it's not a 65 either way. But I gotta wonder if it was mis-labeled.
Did you warn me about this one? Darn, I can't remember, but you were right ! I have my eye on the 52-66RD ending tommorow, have you seen that one too?
Notice my other posting was past tense - after the fact. That 52- does not seem to have any problems. Maybe you will get a better deal than mine - it was the cheap that became expensive. Only paid $33 for it, but the USPS manage to run it through their sorter. It did a job on the holder. After that it cost me $20 to get it re-holdered - and that was with the benefit of free postage one way.
Yeah...I wonder how that slipped thru the cracks Anyways, I need to chill on the " for me" buys this next few weeks, have some Christmas shopping to do. Unless I get another blowout deal, I;ll have to just window shop for now. Speaking of blowout deal, the seller on the 09-S has given permission to remove from holder and send in to slab. What a great seller, you all should take note and watch his stuff, I have bought from him before and he does let some good stuff slip thru. I really have to wonder sometimes, I would be sick if that was my auction, thats a 63RB in hand, we'll see.
