As you may have noticed, I always believed in the saying: "Buy the Book before the coin." What coin book do you feel is essential to your collecting? I have a number of them, and refer to them all. My #1: The Guide Book (Red Book). #2: Cherry Pickers #3: any specialist book (for a series). How about you?

Because I'm on a students budget I only have an older Charlton (2006) but i just go to the local library and pick up what i need as I go right now I have out Coins of Canada: By J.A. Haxby and R.C. Willey and The world encyclopedia of coins and coin collecting: By Dr James Mackay thankfully they have a fairly large selection at all three branches so lots to choose from
