I just found this 2018S Voyagers quarter while CRH'ing. I can't for the life of me find mintage figures on it. Does anyone know any good source? Or has the mint just not released the numbers?
I don't know if the mintage on the following site is the final total or not: http://www.coinnews.net/2018/08/28/us-mint-coin-production-tops-1-4-billion-in-july/ Scroll down to the bottom of the page. The following figures are from Coin World magazine's chart of "Product sales numbers as reported by the U.S. Mint: May 12, 2019" for the 2018 S Mint Mn Voyageurs National Park. 100 coin bag-3,841 =384,100 Quarters Single roll set (40 coins-3,619 =144,760 Quarters Three roll set (120 coins)(PD&S)-8,348 = 8,348 S Quarters Silver proof set-320,876 = 320,876 Silver Proof Quarters Clad proof set-502,732 = 502,732 Proof Quarters US Mint Uncirculated set-247,873 =247,873 Quarters ATB Quarters proof set-85,233 =85,233 Proof Quarters ATB Silver Quarters proof set-77,574 = 77,574 Silver Proof Quarters
That only has Philly and Denver mintage totals as far as I can see. I've found a few places with P and D mintages. But not San Fran mintages.
Meow has found this. 18ARH 2018 ATB Voyageurs Single Roll (40 Coin) (S) 3,679 18ARJ 2018 ATB Voyageurs 3-Roll Set (120 Coin) (P&D&S) 8,363 So, so far there are roughly 481,680 coins sold to the public.
So all total would be less than 500k? That seems really low. They sold sealed bags as well too, right?
So an additional 384,847 coins sold to the public so far in bags. 2018 ATB Voyageurs 100-Coin Bag (S) 3,847 So its like 900,000 or so Meow thinks in total. And they will still sell more, so its going to be 900k plus for now.
At any rate, about half as scarce as W quarters. But worth far less. Not enough hype or treasure hunt mania to have the value of W quarters.
By my calculations that's 785,081 S Mint Minnesota Quarters. 398,450 Silver Proof Quarters. 587,965 Clad Proof Quarters. I'm sleepy from looking at all the numbers so I may be incorrect re them. You can do your own calculations if you choose to. You can always go here for production numbers; https://www.usmint.gov/
@furryfrog02 According to the US Mint's products sales numbers for the Voyageurs National Park (Minnesota) they sold 2,091 100 coin bags of the P Mint quarters 2,149 100 coin bags of the D Mint quarters 3,841 100 coin bags of the S Mint quarters 8,338 Three roll sets (120 coins) (PD&S 6.306 Two roll sets (80 coins) (P&D) 3,619 Single roll sets (40 coins) (S) Plus the Silver & Clad Proof sets and Uncirculated sets shown in my prior post. This info is on page 20 of the June issue of Coin World. I'm not computer savvy but if I can I'll try and post a link for this.
Trying to get a link. Maybe have to wait for one of my kids to show me how to do it. file:///C:/Users/Thomas%20Mozzillo/Downloads/CWW_2019_06_03.pdf That's the best I can do for now. It could be the whole magazine so you can manually type in the address and scroll to page 20. Hope it works. The figure 785,081 was for S Mint circulation quality coins
I'm working today. When I get home I'll recheck the numbers. What I have so far is: 3841 100 coin bags = 384,100 3619 40 coin rolls. = 144,760 8348 40 coin rolls = 333,920 247873 mint sets. = 247,874 1,110,653 S Mint MN. Quarters Also forgot the 13,758 included in THE ATB 3 Coin set bringing the total to 1,124,411 S Mint VNP Minnesota quarters. If you pm me your email I'll send a photo of the page. That also goes for @furryfrog02
I've never been interested or good at Math so any corrections are welcome. Just noticed 2018 ATB QUARTERS CIRCULATING COIN SET. There were 20,029 sold but I don't know if the S Mint quarter was in it..
Meow is quite sure the mint sets and the 3 coin sets DO NOT contain s mint uncircs. The rolls and bags where the only way to get them.
