Hi All!, had a great time again, I found a few more Icelandic coins, (I cleaned one guy out completely), LOL Here are some photos, Thanks!
How did you make out at the Baltimore show? I was going to stop at Charmy's table but she looked pretty darn busy at 11:30 on friday so I decided not to interrupt.
Here are a couple non Iceland, I was suprised to find out that there is actually other Countries that make coins.
We had a great time, You should have said Hi!! Here are the links I posted: http://www.cointalk.com/t166517/ http://www.cointalk.com/t166516/ http://www.cointalk.com/t166443/ Are you going in June log?
I plan on it. I actually plan on going to the Philly show as well as the National Money show in Pittsburgh. Nice pick up on the ancient!
I also picked up 3, 1971 Ireland mint sets, Mintage 50,000 for 5 bucks! Sorry no photos on those yet. All in all it was a good show for me. There were a couple of dealers that didn't show unfourtunately. Of course the ones I wanted to seriously check out were the 2 that didn't show. It didn't really matter I'm quite happy with what I did find! Thanks looking!
Thanks for the comments Log. Hey when June gets here maybe we could head down there together. I live very close to philly.
Well, since I live around York, I don't think it would be much use to meet up before the show I will definitely make an effort this time though to introduce myself to other members of the forum. Plus, I already know where to find you....:thumb:
Which is nice, because Maryland has quite a few small little 40 table shows throughout the year. I went to about 6 shows the last half of the year and only one was in the state I live!
Great pickups Mark. I wasn't sure how you'd do because you were just there last month. Sometimes when you go too often the dealers still have a lot of the same material you already saw. I'll go to the show in May for sure and see what's new then. Bruce
I was actually a little suprised myself Bruce. This time I went very slowly thru the dealers, I looked at EVERY Icelandic coin that was in the buliding this time. Chances are it will be slim pickins next month. I don't mind, next month I'll comb the dealers for Irish coins LOL! Thanks Bruce!
