Hello, I have a bundel of star notes with the BEP wrapper still on it. They are stamped JAN 19,2006. The notes are 2003 F series (Atlanta Reserve). The Treasurer was Posario Marin and the secretary was John W Snow. The serial numbers are F 04258601* - F 04258700*. I can't find any info for them. Does anyone know anything about them? Thank You, Hill Billy
Welcome to Coin Talk @HILL BILLY They are from a large run of over 3 million notes , F03200001 * - F06400000 * and distributed in packs of 100. They typically sell for $135 to $175 a pack depending on the venue and serial numbers. Some sellers try to sell them as individual star notes for $3 - $5 each to make a little more money, but it takes longer to sell. Don't know about the stamped date....they were printed in Aug/2005
Hey Steve, I think the stamped date was when they were received at the bank. A friend who worked at the bank called me to ask me if I wanted them. I hauled ass over there to get them. She just checked them into the vault. She told me that the Atlanta Reserve was the smallest supplier for the banks in the south east. That is why they had the 2003 notes still in inventory. I'm not going to sell them. I think that I got a good deal. I got them for face value. (LOL) Thanks Again, Hill Would it be OK to ask you more questions?
