Hello out there, today 9/11 I was told that the 2005 buffalo nickle is being recalled because you can see his 'hoo hoo'. Ya know what I mean?? Is this true?? I can see his 'hoo hoo', but are they really recalling it???dd: Vivor
Welcome aboard vivor. Can you say "urban legend"? The buffalo nickle design(s) have always been anatomically correct (with the possible exception of the three-legged ones ).
ummm, no. His hoo hoo is simply part of the design in an anatomically correct depiction. No one is going to go ballistic over that, nor is the govt going to recall the coin
That would be the most unrealistic endevor the mint would ever try to take on. Could you imagine how much those pieces of C*** would shoot up in value if that were to be the case. Every joe schmo & his mother would have "rare" coins
Now this makes me wonder how come the females of this country haven't jumped on this subject of always having a male Buffalo on the coins. In the Chicago area they had a famous restaurant take down a sign that had a stand up bar section for MEN only. No one would dare have a TV or Radio program that says for MEN only. So when do we start with a FEMALE Buffalo on coins????????
