    By who ?

Never mind, I think I know now after reading another of your posts. Twiggs I don't want to discourage you or hurt your feelings, but this coin has been very harshly cleaned and is damaged to boot. Now if you were aware of this before you bought the coin then OK. But I get the feeling you were not. And I'd be willing to bet you could get the same coin, in the same grade - problem free, if you used a good honest dealer. And probably for about the same amount of money you paid for this one.

The technical grade is probably correct, aside from GDJMSP's comments.

Damn Twiggs! I fell over standing on my head to view your coin!

Yes, it's in pretty good shape, yes it's been cleaned and yes KEEP posting them!

Might I suggest buying a loupe? Most people go with a 5X or 10X. I carry a 16X to look for errors. Whatever you choose they are not expensive, you can always carry one and they last forever. I've had my 16 for at least 15 years.

Nice job on the Centennial nickel. I've found all of two so far, one for me, one for my son. They are really difficult to find in circulation.
