Seller claims to be knowledgeable but has labeled this as a die break. I instantly thought PMD but upon enlarging the photo, I now am not sure.
Also, how much does lamination errors affect the price?

    Lamination crack.
It looks to go into the edge so it might even be a planchet crack - defective planchet

The cheek looks like a lamination but the lines lower than that on the hair look like damage to me.

The 1918 's platchets were famous for lamination issues! I have an 18 D somewhere around here also lamination error.

Same here. It's a lamination crack.

I agree. The marks on the cheek and braid appear to be PMD.

Concur. It’s both damaged and (de)laminated.
