I found this in the parking lot today what does that A imprinted on the Indians head stand for lol - I can’t find anything about it lol - There might be a reason for that right?.
Coins have often been counter marked as inexpensive pieces to test new dies ( when they were made by hand, or for entry to certain areas of an event, etc. This looks like a specific font and more likely a test piece.
That's the "A" side of the coin and the reverse is the "B" side. Like a record - Anyone remember records and record players? Ahhhh...forgetaboutit. I'm old.
I'm old, too. I remember B sides. I would sometimes buy a 45 and then find that I liked the B side much better than the A side hit.
