bubble quarter

    bubble quarter 7 .jpg I have seen several bubble coins a lot of them being 1973 d quarters. but not like this one. it has a very large one on the face and a large one on both wings. sorry up front pictures are not great

    Your Pics are going to have to be better to get a reasonable response, so I suggest taking a little time and focus (literally)... Personally, I can't make out any details in the pics... not even the year.

    (Some people will yell at you about bad pics... I just ask you to post better ones!)

    Yes clearer photos are always best at least this one is easily definable.
    This has been hit with high heat, a bubble has been formed between the clad layers.
    It's as @paddyman98 would say DefDAm

    That makes no sense.. This issue could happen to any Clad Quarter minted from 1965 and after. Extreme heat affects the Clad and creates the bubbles.
    Your Quarter is not a known Mint Error nor Variety.
    It's just DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged! :yack:
