Back in the early 80's I got a couple sets of these coin/tokens. There was a map of the US and each coin/token went into each state. On each coin/token it has the state name and picture and on the back it gives the date when it became a state, the state flower, and the state bird. Also what there "slogan" is like for this Tennessee token/coin. Its the "Volunteer State".

Pics aren't all that great and the coin is dirty. I have them all in different boxes, and dont have the US maps they go in. Are these items of any value? Have you all seen these or remember them then? Thanks for your input.

Franklin mint may be correct, that I do not know. I do know that it really doesn't matter who made them, as this type of state (as well as presidential, automobile, etc.) were made in large quantities, and I am not aware that any of them (or even a complete set) that have much value over what it would cost to ship them (if sold).

Yeah...thanks for the response....I figured that too....my fake 1804 draped dollar is worth more that that bronze token...hehhehhe....Just thought I'd ask....Maybe I'll come up with a coin that is actually worth something one day....Hmmmm how about an 1856 penny? Those have to have a bit of a value to em?

Maybe an 1856 penny has some value to it, depends on what kind/grade it is. Quite a few pennies with old dates are actually much more recent than the date indicates.
