This is a coin i am selling for a charity, it has a very large edge, i would say it is twice the usual size.
Is there a name for this type of mint error? Any ideas of the value of such a coin?

Dryer coin. It has had the edge of the coin gently beaten reducing the diameter and causing the edge to spread out. This is a commonly seen form of damage seen on coins that have gotten trapped insid e the tumbling vanes of commercial dryers for extended periods. It is not an error, it is a type of damage. Value is 2 pence
