    Here is a section for those interested in British Commonwealth P.O.W. & internment camp coins & banknotes.I have got a 1/- note that was issued at the Green Point Track camp during the 2nd Boer War (1899-1902).Can anyone else think of any other British Commonwealth countries that had internment camp coins & notes apart from these? ;

    Ireland.
    New Zealand.
    Australia.
    Isle of Man.
    St. Helena.
    & Ceylon.

    There was a series of internment camp banknotes that were issued by the Camp Seven Bank,Hay.
    These notes are very rare,& only occasionally turn up in Aussie auctions.
